Youth Athletic Training, Wesley Chapel, FL
The YPP Way

Build the athlete first. Drill second.
YPP develops strength, power, and proper mechanics before layering on speed work. Most programs chase fast feet. We build the body that produces real speed.

Train the quick twitch system.
We target type 2 muscle fibers through age appropriate strength and explosive movement progressions. When these fibers fire faster and stronger, athletes instantly look faster on the field.
Strength and stability drive performance.

We reinforce the hips, core, and lower body so athletes can accelerate, cut, jump, and decelerate with control. This creates true athleticism, not surface level footwork.

Mechanics matter.
Athletes learn how to move correctly under speed. Proper joint angles, posture, and movement efficiency turn raw effort into repeatable performance.

Progression over patterns.
We do not rely on empty pattern running. Every drill has a purpose, builds the next step, and connects directly to sport performance.
Results are the standard.

The YPP Way is built on proven outcomes. Faster athletes. Quicker reactions. Stronger movement. More explosive play.

This is what separates Youth Power and Performance from traditional speed and agility programs.

What Athletes and Parents Say

Eb
"I enjoyed the training because it helped me become a better athlete overall. I’m all about improving my fitness and my athletic ability for football and training helped with that.

What I liked most is the footwork and quickness I developed. Even in high school I lifted a lot of weights outside of just the training with you, so the training really helped develop my footwork and quickness. It also helped me learn what intense training can look like, especially with the intense HIIT work. This helped as I got into college.

After high school I played D1 Football at University at Buffalo and Stony Brook University, and got my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). After a successful college career, I was in mini camps with the New York Giants and Washington Commanders in 2023. Since 2024, I have been playing pro football in the CFL. I’ve been on several teams, including the Edmonton Elks and Saskatchewan Roughriders."

"The thing I liked most about training with you was the technical experience you had was so different than a normal high social strength and conditioning coach, which allowed me to make a huge leap in my speed and overall athleticism going into my junior and senior year. It helped me tremendously as an athlete.

I had significantly better knee drive, became more explosive and visibly gained speed from sophomore year to junior year just from training with you in the off season. I credit my breakout season to the work you helped me put in.

After high school I went on to play for the D1 Ivy League school Dartmouth college and then played two years professionally in Italy and am not in the national flag football team for Italy and hoping to play in the 2028 Olympics in LA."

"The thing I liked the most was the competition aspect of training. Also enjoyed how you switched things up sometimes, and it wasn’t the same thing every time. Really enjoyed the ladders too the start the day off. Another thing I really liked was how we did stuff that translated to the field, not just robotic lifts/movements.

I feel the training helped me be more explosive. Really helped my footwork too.

I am currently a division 1 quarterback at Boston College."

Why Join Youth Power & Performance?
A Proven Youth Speed and Agility Program That Builds Better Athletes

Youth Power and Performance was created by founder Justin Rambo, a long-time athletic performance coach with a proven track record of developing young athletes.

Before launching YPP in Wesley Chapel, Justin owned and operated Excelled Athletics LLC in Rochester, New York, where he personally trained hundreds of athletes across multiple sports. His speed, agility, and power system helped athletes break through plateaus, dominate their seasons, and advance to the next level.

The results speak for themselves. Athletes Justin trained have gone on to earn Division I opportunities, succeed at the collegiate level, play professionally, and compete internationally.

His training approach is built on proper movement mechanics, age-appropriate power development, and a positive environment that builds confidence and skill at the same time.

Youth Power and Performance brings that same proven system to Wesley Chapel, helping young athletes develop speed, agility, coordination, and explosiveness in a safe, structured, motivating setting.

FAQ

What ages can enroll in YPP?
YPP is designed for athletes ages 7 through 14. Training is age appropriate and scaled so every athlete can progress safely.

What sports is YPP good for?
YPP improves speed, quickness, power, coordination, and body control. These qualities benefit every sport including football, soccer, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, track, volleyball, and more.

How often should my child attend?
Most athletes see strong results with two sessions per week. The one day per week option still creates steady progress for beginners or athletes with tight schedules. More weekly training days may be added in the future as the program grows.

How long is each session?
Each session runs for one hour and forty five minutes. This gives enough time for warm up, movement prep, speed and agility work, power development, strength work, and conditioning.

How will this help my child?
YPP strengthens the muscles and movement patterns that directly improve speed, quickness, power, coordination, and overall athletic performance. Athletes learn proper mechanics, develop stronger quick twitch muscle fibers, and gain better control over their movement. This leads to clear improvements in confidence and performance across all sports.

Do parents need to sign a contract?
No. Monthly plans renew automatically but can be stopped at any time before the next billing date. Upfront plans do not renew.

What if my child misses a session?
Any unused sessions can be made up within two to four weeks after your last payment depending on the plan.

Is this safe for young athletes?
Yes. All training is taught with correct mechanics, age appropriate strength work, safe progressions, and constant supervision.

Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes. Discounts apply to additional children beyond the first.

What should my child bring to training?
Comfortable athletic clothing, proper athletic shoes, and a water bottle.

Does my child need to be in shape before joining?
No. YPP is for all levels. Every athlete improves from where they start.

Can my child join at any time?
Yes. Monthly plans begin on the day you register, giving parents full control over their start date.
