SPACE IS LIMITED. Registration is required to reserve your athlete’s spot.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Youth Power Performance training emphasizes developing speed, power, and explosive movement, athletic qualities supported by Type II, or fast-twitch, muscle fibers.
Our Performance Testing Day measures these athletic abilities and gives families meaningful results to track. New athletes establish a baseline. Returning athletes can see their progress.
Testing includes:
• 40-yard dash
• Broad jump
• 5-10-5 shuttle
• Additional movement and performance assessments possible
Athletes will also experience a shortened YPP training session if time permits.
This event is completely free and does not use a session credit.
HOW TO REGISTER
Already have YPP Parent Portal access?
Visit the Parent Portal to access the latest version and log in.
Find the blue and orange Free Performance Testing Day card directly below your athlete’s account summary and click Register Free.
Do not have Parent Portal access?
Complete the Free Performance Testing Day registration form on this page (below). Include every athlete who will attend.
TESTING RESULTS
Results will be added to your athlete’s private results portal after the event (by 5pm), helping you follow their development over time.
WHAT TO BRING
• Athletic clothing
• Cleats are preferred because testing takes place outdoors. Athletic sneakers are acceptable if your athlete does not have cleats.
• Water bottle
Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.
ATHLETE & PARENT EXPECTATIONS
Athletes must listen to coaches, follow instructions, and respect other participants. Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the session.Check in at the designated area. Coaches will supervise athletes during the session, and prompt pickup is required. Parents who remain on site must respect designated viewing areas.
